Leading our Florida operations based out of Parrish, Florida, Nick Schafer is your dedicated, local roofing expert for Greater Tampa, Sarasota, and the entire Sun Coast.
Originally growing up in Springfield, MN, Nick has always had a strong appreciation for the outdoors and loves boating, fishing, camping, and golf. His love for the water and warm weather makes the Sun Coast the perfect place for him to call home. In fact, Nick’s favorite travel experience was visiting the Bahamas, where he loved the crystal-clear waters, beautiful beaches, and snorkeling adventures!
Nick brings that same passion, energy, and dedication to his work at Schmidt Brothers Roofing. He prides himself on being a reliable, hands-on partner who is deeply involved in every single step of your project—from the initial roof inspection and estimate to the final clean-up and touches. Nick’s primary focus is building strong, trusting relationships with his Florida clients, ensuring that each homeowner’s vision and needs are met with the utmost care and attention to detail. Adam Schmidt – Partner Adam began his construction career in 2002 and holds a degree in Business Management. Over the years, he mastered residential and commercial construction, from framing and drywall to siding and roofing. In 2007, he formed his own property services company based on honest work and eventually specialized entirely in roofing and gutters. Adam has never been interested in doing work he couldn’t be proud of, a principle that guides our entire company. “Providing quality service and products is important to me… I want our team to put in 100 percent, and be proud of it. John Peterson – Partner & Sales John began his journey in the construction industry as a laborer for Schmidt Brothers, where Adam taught him the fundamentals of roofing and exterior trades. John later branched off into residential and commercial framing before moving into sales and project management. Realizing he had a knack for working with customers, he earned his degree in Business Management and officially partnered into Schmidt Brothers Roofing. John takes customer satisfaction very seriously and commits to making every experience with a client a memorable one.
Greg Thuente – CEO & Partner Greg grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he played multiple sports as a youth and in high school. He developed a strong work ethic incredibly early in life, starting his first job as a golf caddy the summer before 6th grade. Today, Greg brings that same lifelong dedication and team-oriented leadership to his role as CEO. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends on the water and working on projects.
